All set, waiting for weather confirmation

We landed in Bundaberg this morning to grey skies & a honking Sou'Easter churning up the sea. The forecast is for it to build over the weekend then drop Monday and swing to the south west on Tuesday. We're now in Hervey Bay waiting on tomorrow's 4am forecast to confirm the SE winds & then we have Ken standing by with his charter to run us out to Rooneys for the take-off.
We spent the arvo sorting gear, packing dry bags, tweaking footplates & sails, & browsing various weather models on the web for a clue as to when the wind will go to the west & facilitate a mainland departure.
Fingers crossed we get the predicted SE easing breeze, combined with a fully developed 2.5m following swell & head off for Lady Elliot a day early on Monday.
All three of us are excited & raring to go.
