Our first time all together in the same boats, we had a few hours to spare & headed out along the cliffs with 20-30knots blowing hard from the west. Averaged 8.4kmh until we rounded the corner at Cape Banks to head back into the Bay then hit a very strong wind period & did the final 5km in just under an hour. A great paddle in mixed conditions with hardly anything downwind, we were all really happy with the boats performance & our own ability to hold a solid cruising pace.
